Reviews and Ratings
After a day of exploring Amsterdam, the hotel was a great place to unwind. The rooms, located in the sous-terrain across the road from the main building, offered a massive space with a big comfy bed and a large bathroom featuring a spa bath. However, access to the rooms up some steep steps at the front might not be suitable for everyone.
The hotel had kind staff but the room wasn't ready for us. Despite being located in the basement, it was a bit dark and wet. The service was extremely welcoming, already receiving an email from me, and with excellent room service, dry cleaning, housekeeping, laundry, and a welcome drink. The location was good, in a nice quiet street, near Vondelpark and with main tram line connections. On the downside, it's next to a staircase and store cupboard. The hotel seemed to be good value for money, with a beautiful but not necessarily worth it restaurant.
The hotel's location is perfect, near the museums and within walking distance to most of the main attractions. It's just ideal and quiet, providing a great spot for exploring Amsterdam. The rooms, although somewhat in the basement and accessible via narrow steps, were cozy with a double bed and two singles in the center of the city.
I was delighted with my stay at the hotel. The rooms are wonderfully appointed, spacious, and feature a Nespresso machine, making mornings a joy. The service was top-notch, with the staff always friendly and ready to assist. The location is ideal, nestled on a quiet street but close to the main attractions. Dining was pleasant, although a bit pricey. Overall, a great experience with excellent value for money.
The hotel is situated in the basement, next to the clothes washing room from reception, offering a budget-friendly option in a quiet and convenient location. I appreciated being given a double room during my stay.
Staying at this hotel was a delightful experience overall. The room was great with a comfortable bed and a beautiful balcony overlooking a serene inner garden; however, it wasn't ready for check-in upon arrival. The service was extremely welcoming, though there was a slight issue with staff entering the room without knocking. The location was fantastic, centrally located near major attractions and easily accessible via public transportation. The dining options were varied but a bit overpriced for what was offered.
My stay at the hotel felt like staying in a rented house room with a huge and cozy bed. The location was superb, with easy access to central Amsterdam and a few minutes walk to Vondel Park. The staff was friendly and made me want to return to Roemer again and again. However, the dining was quite expensive although the quality was top-notch.
The hotel was well-decorated, situated near city attractions, and had accommodating services, but there was some morning commotion near the towels area. The location is perfect for exploring museums, parks, and enjoying a quiet street ambiance. The dining experience was good, though a bit overpriced, and the service was friendly and quick to resolve issues.
The hotel is conveniently located between Leidseplein and Vondelpark, offering a nice, quiet area while being close to the city center. The rooms are spacious, well-decorated, and cozy, although some may need a little renovation. The service was very helpful and kind, catering to various requests with spacious rooms. The dining experience provided an impressive spread, and the facilities were well-maintained.
My stay at the hotel was impressive. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to make our anniversary special. The location is excellent, situated on a quiet road near the museum quarter and Leidseplein, providing easy access to transportation and dining options. However, the initial room placement below the restaurant was a downside, but the management quickly resolved it by upgrading us to a more suitable room in a separate building.
